T. Elizabeth Atteberry received her BA in Classical Literature from the California State University Sacramento and taught public speaking while doing her Masters work in Speech Communication at San Diego State University. She learned then, that if she could teach a freshman how to speak in front of people (a fear second only to snakes), she could teach just about anyone anything.Having working her way through school as a traditional typesetter, once out of school, she stayed in the industry, having developed a fondness for the smell of ink and printing chemicals. She's held just about every position in the industry, from paste-up artist to Creative Director, from bindery clerk to General Manager.
She spent years as a prepress consultant and then co-owned a web development company, creating ecommerce sites for the likes of Pearl Jam and Cameron Crowe.
As a nationally certified technical trainer, she has extensive experience teaching at the University level and speaking on national trade show tours. She has written numerous industry articles, video scripts, online training modules, and technical books, and just finished co-writing the latest Adobe Classroom in a Book for InDesign CS3.
She also teaches Dreamweaver and InDesign classes at eVolve Computer Graphics Training center, as well as peddling tea at her own online retail site, Expedition Tea Company.
